Free VPN for IBM i

Green Screens VPN Client allows you to securely connect to the IBM I in different networks hidden behind NAT or Firewall without the need to expose IBM I to the Internet.

Available services are: SOCK5, TELNET, FTP, SSH, HTTP, HTTPS, DDM.

With this program it is possible to use IBM products like IBM Client Access, System I Navigator or any standard telnet, ftp, ssh client or web browser to access available services running on IBM i.

Product is free with limited 30min. usage for 15 parallel connections.

NOTE: DDM service might use up to 8 connections, which will give 2 users / vpn service or 15 user for telnet only.

The reason to release this product is twofold. One is to help anyone to work from home caused by COVID-19 outbreak and needs simple, quick and fast access to their company IBM i. Second reason is promotional to raise awareness about online security and present our product portfolio promoting the incoming Green Screens Terminal Service release with implemented new network tunneling technology.

Network tunneling technology allows us to run Green Screens Terminal Service in Cloud and being able to connect to the IBM i in different networks hidden behind NAT and Firewall. An ideal solution for companies not wanting to outsource their IBM machines but needs online access from remote locations.
